POLI 10:
Introduction to American Politics

This course provides an introduction to the American political system. We will augment the course with cases where modern social scientists have attempted to expand our understanding of how the American political system works.

POLI 162:
Environmental Politics and Policy

This course examines contemporary environmental policy and politics. Students will learn the basic tools of policy analysis and apply them to a variety of environmental problems and proposed policy solutions.

POLI 198RA:
Research Apprenticeship

During the winter and spring quarters each research apprentice commits 12 hours per week as a research assistant. Under the guidance of the mentor the student will write a jointly authored 20 page research paper.

PSCI 1044:
Political Psychology

In this course we will explore major areas of research in political psychology. Students will design and implement their own experimental research designs to test fundamental theories about political behavior.
