Kibale National Park, Uganda

Brief History

This is one of the best-studied forests in Africa, and has been the site of several long-term primate projects (see Ghiglieri 1984; Struhsaker 1975, 1997 for overviews). There is a great blog for the Harvard University study site at http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~primates/; check this for photos, updates, and to get an idea of what working there is like.
