Dear Margaret,

I am listening now to the National Barn Dance. At home I used to think it was awful corn, but here it sounds wonderful. We also get to hear, by rebroadcast, Charles McCarthy, Fibber McGee and Molly and Bob Hope. The McGees are by long odds the favorites. They don't talk about the war too much. I heard an episode of Big Sister put on by an Australian cast. It was queer hearing Dr. Wayne with a cockney accent.

Much love,

Herb
