June 1, 1944 Dear Margaret, Here we are in June and being further south, the air is brisk and the wind strong. Darkness comes on early in the evening so that what is so rare as a day in June doesn't apply down here. Did I tell you I bought a transformer to cut down the 240-current to 110 for my razor? It is no good for the 240-radio we bought here. But there is a possibility of reversing the transformer and building up the current. Much love, Herb |
