June 5, 1944 Dear Margaret, Our laundry now is being done by Army quartermasters which is satisfactory except for wool socks. I sent a couple of pairs, and they came back about Carol's size. So yesterday the remainder were done by yours truly with cold water, Lux soap and brush in the approved manner. Much love, Herb |
