They specify a region idnum, region name, and a color for each vertex in the fsaverage surfaces. The CsurfMaps1 parcellation files were also converted to GIFTI (*.label.gii) files. The ASCII color lookup table used to assemble the annotation files (for either csurf or freesurfer) and the final sequential color table with ID num 'holes' removed are also included here: Abbreviations-Table1.pdf -- table of abbreviations on one page CsurfColorLUT.txt -- directs construct csurf/freesurf annot ('holes') CsurfMapsl.ctab.txt -- final sequential color table w/ID 'holes' rm'd lh-CsurfMaps1.annot -- native freesurfer annotation lh-CsurfMaps1.label.gii -- via mris_convert rh-CsurfMaps1.annot -- native freesurfer annotation rh-CsurfMaps1.label.gii -- via mris_convert CsurfMaps1+orig.BRIK,HEAD -- 3D cortical ribbon ROIs (short region id's) CsurfMaps1.mgz -- 3D cortical ribbon ROIs (int region id's) CsurfColorLUT-both.txt -- sequential hemi-specific col lookup table for 3D orig+orig.BRIK,HEAD -- for viewing overlay in AFNI (from orig.mgz) mapdata lh-mapsaud.cols -- auditory areas (ASCII vertex color file) lh-mapssom.cols -- somatosensory areas (ASCII vertex color file) lh-mapsvis.cols -- visual areas (ASCII vertex color file) rh-mapsaud.cols -- same, for RH rh-mapssom.cols -- same, for RH rh-mapsvis.cols -- same, for RH mapdata-labels: lh-mapsvisADJPHA.label -- FreeSurfer label file w/adjusted polar angle rh-mapsvisADJPHA.label -- FreeSurfer label file w/adjusted polar angle README.txt -- [phase adjust details] For details, see: Sereno MI, Sood MR and Huang R-S (2022) Topological Maps and Brain Computations From Low to High.
