LATEST EMAIL UPDATE: 05 Feb 2014
###################################################################

Here are the main changes (see UPDATES.txt for complete history):

  (1) when tksurfer displays label with DSP, current transparency
("alph" entry) also used (was just using color in r,g,b
entries). To set transparency of all labels the same,
        use <Return> in "alph" entry

  (2) clicking tksurfer "area:" label toggles to "area2" to read in a
second area file for calculating area ratio (middle-clicking
"area:" auto-reads/calculates/displays area ratio as 'curv')

  (3) 1600 lines of csh compile/run code ported to POSIX sh (not visible)

To install:

  cd <dir-where-csurf-currently-installed>
  mv csurf csurf-YYMMDD
  tar xvfz csurf0.8-{mac,linux}-YYMMDD.tgz

cheers,
marty
