J. Lawrence Broz is Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at UC San Diego. He earned his PhD from UCLA in 1993 and he held professorships at Harvard University (1993-2000) and New York University (2000-2001). Professor Broz specializes in the political economy of international trade and finance. His current research examines the impact of trade and the World Trade Organization on political outcomes within the United States.
