Source #1 The climate is characterized by two rainy seasons (March-June and Sept. - October) and two dry seasons (July-Aug and Nov-Feb.) w/ approx. 1800mm rainfall per year.

Somewhat wetter periods in April-July and Sept.- Nov.
South has aseasonal evergreen forest w/Dispyros spp. and Mapania spp. and a seasonal type with Eremospatha macrocarpa and Diospyros manii occuring north of the site.
Observation Period = August 4 to December 20, 1987
Gross precipitation totalled 1021.9mm distributed over 128 showers on 77 days
Averaged over all gauges, throughfall totalled 924.5mm, 90.5% of gross precipitation.
