Electronic Commerce Resource Center
ECRC is a collection of regional centers which assist agencies of the federal government and private industrial organizations in obtaining affordable, high-quality goods and services that facilitate their use of electronic commerce either as a consumer or provider.

National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA)
This web site is maintained by NTIA, an agency of the United States Department of Commerce (DOC). It is the executive branch's voice on domestic and international telecommunications and information technology. Its goal is to help the United States maintain its leadership position and remain competitive in this area. To do this it focuses on providing Internet access for U.S. citizens and companies, access to foreign markets, and providing new opportunities with technology.

The President's Information Infrastructure Task Force
The task force brings together representatives from U.S. federal agencies as well as representatives from the private sector to develop and apply information and telecommunication technology and to determine government policy as it applies to these areas.

A Framework for Global Electronic Commerce
This is a policy paper of the Clinton Administration released in July, 1997 which outlines principles, issues, and strategy for global electronic commerce.

From the home page there are links to center research and publications. One of which is Gateways to the Global Market: Consumers and Electronic Commerce. This document is a background paper on electronic commerce which was developed under contract to Consumer Protection Commission and the Organization of Economic Co-operation and Development.
