Hyperbole
An exaggeration; a
statement that something has either much more or much less of a
quality than it truly has.
Examples:
The man was so fast he
could kiss a bullet.
He was so delicate he was
knocked unconscious by a snowflake.
My belly is as cold as if
I had swallowed
snowballs for pills to
cool the veins.
