School Sites:
An important requirement of this course is weekly participatory site visits to a school or educational setting. You will work with teachers and their students during an approximately two and a half hour to three hour period each week, and to write up a reflection on your experiences and observations.
Below I list three school sites that you may select from, along with their
locations and the days/times that you can sign up for. Please look this over
carefully and let me know if you have a preference for a specific site or
day. Note: you must commit to visiting the same site/time every week. Let
me know you interested in carpooling to one of the sites (either needing a
ride or providing a seat in your car) and I will help to put you in touch
with others in the class.
Those of you selecting Torrey Pines elementary will need to make your first
site visit on Wednesday, January 9th. Please confirm with me by email and I will go over the details.
