######################################################################################### https://pages.ucsd.edu/~msereno/csurf/fsaverage-labels/CsurfMaps1-parcellation/README.txt ######################################################################################### CsurfMaps1 parcellations (LH/RH), mapdata The left and right hemisphere CsurfMaps1 and HCP-MMP1 parcellations here are MGH format binary surface 'annotation' files that can be used in either csurf or MGH freesurfer. They specify a region idnum, region name, and a color for each vertex in the fsaverage surfaces. The CsurfMaps1 parcellation files were also converted to GIFTI (*.label.gii) files. The ASCII color lookup table used to assemble the annotation files (for either csurf or freesurfer) and the final sequential color table with ID num 'holes' removed are also included here. The 3D cortical ribbon files are provided in AFNI (short, *.BRIK,HEAD) and Freesurfer (int, *.mgz) formats (registered with the FreeSurfer orig.mgz volume). These were made using the tcl script $CSURF_DIR/lib/tcl/annot2roi.tcl (makes popup if run from tksurfer) and contain region id numbers of voxels sampled by points along surface normals of the FreeSurfer fsaverage "orig" surface from 0.0 to 1.1 of the average local cortical thickness. The csurf tksurfer function, fill_idnumbrik_holes was used to remove holes (on gyri, surface normals spread apart near the pial surface). CsurfColorLUT-both.txt is a sequential hemi-specific color lookup table giving the names and colors of the region ID numbers in the 3D files.
