Instructions: The two Californias (las dos Californias) are Alta California (corresponding to the American state) and Baja California (corresponding to two Mexican states of Baja California Norte and Sur). Spanish place names are found in both countries, occasionally with some duplication. In the following list, each name is regionally well known in only one country. Differentiate the US from the Mexican places. (Accent marks are used in these place names only in Mexico. To avoid giving away answers, they have been used here for names on both sides of the border.)

For each place name in the left column enter the number of the corresponding country in the right column. If the number you enter is correct, the right answer will be copied to the adjacent box. Otherwise a "sad faced smiley" will appear in that space. NOBODY wants to deal with a "sad faced smiley"!

When all the boxes are correctly filled in, the screen will change color to show its manic enthusiasm.
