Describe the most important elements of the social, cultural, and religious structure of the Pueblo Indians of the Río Grande based on the materials in Part 1 of this course.  Use specific examples to illustrate your points.  Comparison with other Southwest peoples may aid your description. 

Your group will meet for 10 minutes at the beginning of class to discuss the points that you will cover in your presentation and their organization.  You should come to class ready to contribute to a plan for your group presentation.

Describe a few good examples of how historical change has informed or affected the world views of Native Americans in the Southwest.  How and when did different groups respond to contact with other Indian and non-Indian groups, and how are these responses reflected in the Part I materials?  You may include any peoples, but you should include the different Pueblos and the Navajo in your discussion.
