Information for Presenters
Most of you will stay at the La Jolla Shores hotel. On March 6, I will provide transportation from the hotel, bright and early at 7.45am. There will be a light breakfast at the workshop venue.
We will spend about 60 minutes on each paper. Since this is a small group, I expect that everyone will have read all the papers. Each paper will be assigned a discussion opener. After you introduced your paper (about 10 minutes) each discussion opener will spend about 5 minutes to launch the discussion of the paper. In order to allow the discussion openers enough time to read your paper, please send them to me by Friday, February 20th the latest.
There will be a public roundtable at the end of the day. The roundtable is on the potential contagion effects of the European Debt crisis for the United States. I hope that you are willing to participate.
We will provide light breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all-day beverage service. If you have any specific dietary restrictions, please let Christina Butler (cpbutler@ucsd.edu) know as soon as possible. Dinner will be hosted at Whisknladle in La Jolla at 6.30pm.
Free internet access will be available. Please bring all PowerPoints or other visual aids with you on a thumb drive or send them to me (cjschneider@ucsd.edu) before the conference. All PowerPoints and visual aids can be placed on a UCSD computer for the workshop.
